I think I have been scammed. What should I do?
- Stop all contact with the person and do not send any more money or documents.
- Keep your evidence: screenshots, phone numbers, emails and receipts.
- Open the Safety Centre and use Report a Scam.
- If the job ad is on Ricebowl, also use Report Job on that job page.
Important
If money has been transferred, report it to the authorities as well. Ricebowl cannot recover payments made to a scammer.
