What do the application statuses mean?

Ricebowl groups your applications under these tabs:

• Submitted, the application has been sent
• Viewed
• Shortlisted
• Rejected
• Hired

The status on a card changes as the employer acts on your application, so it is normal for a job to stay under Submitted for a while.

You may also see an Expired tag. That means the job ad itself has closed. When that happens, use Find Similar jobs on the card.
